Fishing Licenses for Lake Erie Fishing Charters

Who needs a fishing license?

If you are not yet 16 years old, you DO NOT need any license in Ohio.

If you are 16 years old or older, you need at least a valid 1-Day Ohio fishing license. This may be a (Ohio) resident or a non-resident fishing license.

**Non-Residents of Ohio**
UPDATE 1/26/22: The previously required 'Lake Erie Fishing Permit' has been CANCELLED for 2022.
If you will be fishing Lake Erie any day in January, February, March or April, you will ALSO NEED a valid Lake Erie Fishing Permit. This is only required of non-residents, age 16 or older, from Jan.1 through April 30.
